The rules

  1. 01

    Everything starts on the bench

A repo, tool or app enters as a public evaluation. It can come from the pillar watchlist, from a repo the machine researched, or from a reader. Nothing skips the queue.

  2. 02

    The vault is earned

An entry moves in only after it survives a real build or workflow. The write-up that records that test is linked from the entry.

  3. 03

    Leaving is dated and explained

When something is abandoned, replaced, or stops being worth your time, it goes to the graveyard with the date and the reason. It is never silently deleted.

  4. 04

    Stats are queried, never typed

Stars, forks, language and last push sync from GitHub nightly. Rising means real star velocity over a rolling seven days, not a feeling.

  5. 05

Drops are compiled, not curated by mood

The weekly issue is generated from what actually moved: new vault entries, the largest star gains, removals, and the week's deep dive.

  6. 06

    Reading is never gated

Every entry, drop, guide and video stays free to read. Paid products are kits and courses, not access to the catalog.

  7. 07

    Maintainers are credited

Every entry links to its repository and authors. Coverage quotes sources and never rewrites a README as original work.
